Bonnie MacDougall has designed necklaces for many years. She was also an English professor for many years and is a novelist. She finds fascination with words and beads. Designing necklaces is like creating statements with words.Two words make a phrase. Two beads make a pattern. As each is elongated, a richer statement or more complex pattern evolves.
